Netherlands Immigration Research: Five Questions for Mobility Professionals

Global Relocation Guide (GRG) invites immigration advisers, relocation specialists and global-mobility professionals who work with Netherlands cases to share practical written feedback about recurring immigration research.

GRG is developing a commercial professional intelligence product: a structured, source-linked reference for five Netherlands routes — general paid employment (GVVA), Highly Skilled Migrant age 30+, EU Blue Card, general self-employment and partner/family. Before offering it commercially, we want to understand how professionals research and maintain these types of facts. This is voluntary product-related market research, not an offer to purchase anything.

If you work in this area, you can answer any of the five questions below by email. A short written response is sufficient; you do not need to provide client files, personal case details, a telephone number, a meeting, or a purchase decision.

Five questions for Netherlands immigration professionals

1. Which Netherlands immigration routes does your team handle regularly (GVVA, Highly Skilled Migrant age 30+, EU Blue Card, general self-employment, partner/family or others)?

2. Which recurring checking task takes the most effort: eligibility and income thresholds, sponsorship, fees, forms/procedures, work rights, official-source tracing, or keeping up with changes?

3. How does your team currently store, update and share immigration research — official-source bookmarks, internal notes, spreadsheets, paid tools, or another approach?

4. What internal reference format would be most useful — a short brief, searchable table, structured workbook, or something else? What currentness or update information would matter?

5. What, if anything, is missing from your existing workflow? It is equally useful to say your present tools already cover your needs.

How to respond

Send your voluntary responses to contact@globalrelocationguide.com with the subject “GRG Netherlands professional research response.” You may answer only the questions relevant to your work. Please do not send clients’ personal or confidential immigration information.

Optional and separate product-information request

Research participation does not subscribe you to marketing. After your answers, you may separately include the exact sentence “YES — please send me information about the proposed GRG Netherlands professional intelligence product.” This option is entirely voluntary, not required to participate, and can be withdrawn at any time. If you do not include it, GRG will use your reply only for the research process and essential correspondence about your response.

Privacy: see the short research privacy notice immediately below. GRG is currently evaluating a potential professional product; it does not claim independently certified intelligence, proven savings or existing paying customers.

Research privacy notice

Controller and contact. The data controller is Gyula Tamás Horváth, trading as Global Relocation Guide (GRG). For questions, rights requests or information about safeguards, contact contact@globalrelocationguide.com.

Data you choose to provide. Your sender email address, any name, organisation or professional role you include, answers to the five questions, necessary response correspondence, and any separate affirmative product-information request. Do not send client records, confidential case details or sensitive personal data.

Research purposes, interests and lawful basis. GRG uses these voluntary responses to understand how Netherlands immigration professionals research official sources, identify repeated checking tasks and inform development of a potential commercial professional intelligence product. For limited research analysis and essential correspondence, GRG relies on its legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): validating professional needs and designing a more useful source-linked research product. The research is voluntary, does not require client case information, and is subject to data minimisation, restricted access, limited retention and the right to object.

Separate optional product updates. Research participation does not involve marketing consent. Only when a respondent separately and affirmatively requests information about the proposed product will GRG process their contact details for that purpose on the basis of consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a), subject to applicable electronic-marketing rules. This permission is optional, not a condition of taking part, and can be withdrawn at any time by emailing the address above, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Who receives the information. Only authorised GRG personnel working on this research and necessary correspondence, and providers operating GRG's business email and restricted research records, currently Google Gmail and Google Drive, as applicable. Named responses will not be publicly shared or sold; findings should be aggregated or de-identified.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area. Google services and support arrangements may involve processing or access outside the EEA. Any such transfer must be supported by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate GDPR safeguards (such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where required). Information about the applicable transfer mechanism and how to obtain a copy of relevant safeguards is available on request by email. GRG's Google Workspace account is covered by a Cloud Data Processing Addendum accepted on 5 September 2026.

Retention. GRG retains identifiable research correspondence and tracked responses for no longer than six months from receipt, followed by deletion or irreversible de-identification, unless a longer period is required by a specific documented legal obligation or claim. Separately requested product-information contact details are retained only while the requested purpose remains active or until consent is withdrawn. Minimal consent and withdrawal evidence is kept only to the extent necessary to demonstrate compliance.

Your GDPR rights. Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction; object to processing based on legitimate interests; request portability where applicable; withdraw optional product-information consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority. Email contact@globalrelocationguide.com to make a request.

Voluntary participation and automated decisions. Your answers are voluntary: providing them is not required by law or contract, and declining has no negative consequences. Sending an email necessarily discloses your sender address so GRG can receive and respond to it. GRG will not make decisions about respondents based solely on automated processing or profiling of questionnaire replies.
